A natural path to better health

Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most widely practised forms of medicine in the world. By stimulating specific points on the body, it encourages your natural healing processes, restores balance, and relieves a wide range of physical and emotional conditions.

At my Harborne practice, I combine traditional acupuncture with cupping, moxibustion, and lifestyle advice to create a treatment plan that's tailored specifically to you. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, stress, or fertility challenges, I'm here to help.

Conditions I Treat

Acupuncture is effective for a surprisingly wide range of conditions. Here are some of the most common reasons people come to see me.

Rooted in Tradition, Backed by Evidence

Traditional Chinese Medicine views the body as an interconnected system where energy (Qi) flows along specific pathways called meridians. When this flow is disrupted, illness and pain can arise.

Acupuncture restores the smooth flow of Qi by stimulating precise points along these meridians. Modern research has shown that acupuncture triggers the release of endorphins, reduces inflammation, and activates the body's own repair mechanisms.

The World Health Organisation recognises acupuncture as effective for over 40 conditions, including chronic pain, headaches, digestive disorders, and respiratory problems.

What My Patients Say

I'd tried everything for my chronic back pain — painkillers, physio, even steroid injections. After just four sessions with Ming, the pain had reduced by more than half. I wish I'd tried acupuncture sooner. She's incredibly knowledgeable and puts you at ease straight away.
