Your first consultation is a thorough 75-minute session where we'll go through your full health history, review your diet diary, and discuss your goals in detail. I'll ask about your digestion, energy levels, sleep, stress, and any symptoms you're experiencing. You'll leave with initial dietary recommendations and a clear idea of how we'll work together going forward. It's relaxed, supportive, and entirely focused on you.

It varies depending on your goals and the complexity of your health concerns. Most clients benefit from an initial consultation followed by three to four follow-up sessions spread over three to six months. This gives us time to implement changes, monitor your progress, and adjust your plan as needed. Some clients see significant improvements after just a couple of sessions, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period.

Absolutely not. I don't believe in restrictive dieting and I'll never hand you a rigid meal plan full of foods you don't enjoy. My approach focuses on nourishing additions rather than deprivation — adding more of the good stuff so that the less helpful habits naturally fall away. Every recommendation is tailored to your lifestyle, preferences, and what's realistic for you. The best plan is one you can actually stick to.

Both are qualified nutrition professionals, but our approaches differ. Dietitians are regulated by the HCPC and typically work within the NHS, following standardised dietary guidelines. Nutritional therapists like myself take a functional, personalised approach — looking at the root causes of symptoms and using targeted nutrition, lifestyle changes, and sometimes functional testing to support your health. I'm registered with BANT and the CNHC, ensuring high professional standards and evidence-based practice.

Yes, I work with a wide range of health concerns including gut issues such as IBS, bloating, and reflux, hormonal imbalances, chronic fatigue, skin problems like eczema and acne, and weight management. I also support clients with food intolerances, autoimmune conditions, and stress-related symptoms. If you're unsure whether nutritional therapy is right for your situation, I'd recommend booking a free discovery call so we can chat about it.

Yes, I offer consultations via secure video call, and they're just as thorough and effective as in-person sessions. Many of my clients prefer the convenience of working from home, and I've found that online appointments work brilliantly for most people. You'll receive the same detailed assessment, personalised plan, and ongoing support regardless of whether we meet face-to-face or on screen.

I ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to offer the slot to another client who may be waiting. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. I completely understand that life happens, so please just let me know as soon as you can and we'll work something out.

Booking is easy. You can use the contact form on my website, call me on 07700 900 461, or email me at email@yourdomain.com. If you're not sure whether nutritional therapy is right for you, I offer a free 15-minute discovery call where we can have an informal chat about your health goals and how I might be able to help. There's no pressure and no obligation.
