Reflexology is a complementary therapy that applies gentle, targeted pressure to specific reflex points on the feet. These points correspond to different organs, glands, and systems throughout the body. It's not a foot massage — it's a therapeutic treatment that promotes healing and balance by stimulating the body's natural recovery processes. It's completely non-invasive and suitable for most people.

No, reflexology shouldn't hurt. I use firm but gentle pressure throughout. You may notice some tender spots during treatment, which can indicate an area of imbalance that needs attention, but the overall experience is deeply relaxing. I'll always work within your comfort level and check in with you as we go.

It depends on your reason for visiting. Some people feel real benefits after a single session. For ongoing or chronic conditions, I typically recommend a course of 4–6 weekly sessions, followed by regular maintenance treatments. I'll suggest a plan that works for you during our initial chat, but there's never any pressure to commit.

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. You stay fully clothed throughout the treatment — only your shoes and socks are removed. I'll provide a warm blanket so you feel cosy and relaxed. The main thing is that you feel at ease.

Yes — I'm a specialist maternity reflexologist and regularly treat pregnant clients. Reflexology is safe from 12 weeks onwards, and many clients continue throughout their pregnancy for support with common discomforts like nausea, back pain, and fatigue. I'd always recommend letting your midwife know you're having treatments.

Reflexology supports the body's natural healing processes. My clients regularly report improvements with stress, insomnia, digestive issues, migraines, fertility challenges, and chronic pain. While I don't diagnose or claim to cure conditions, reflexology can be a valuable complement to conventional medical treatment — never a substitute for it.

Your first session begins with a consultation where we'll talk about your health history, lifestyle, and what you'd like to achieve. The first appointment takes around 75 minutes — 15 minutes for the consultation plus a full 60-minute treatment. Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes. You'll be seated in a comfortable reclining chair throughout, fully clothed with just bare feet.

You can book via the contact form, by calling me on 07700 900 206, or by emailing email@yourdomain.com. If you're new to reflexology, I offer a free 15-minute discovery chat so we can talk through your needs before you commit to anything.
